30 Years old.....December 6th
So one of my best friends and I were speaking last evening about today being my 30th. She happily points out that she has a few months till she turns it. It creeps up on you, I say. But the truth of it is that today I look back and see an amazing life thus far, and only promise in the future.
Fall of this year I left a job of seven years, career of 11, in the travel industry and started graduate studies at The Ohio State University. It's as close to a Willy Wonka Golden Ticket as a boy can get as far as I am concerned. And as I looked back at pictures of me in amazing places, during stolen moments of grace, beauty, and blessing I realized that when all the backgrounds fell away it was the genuine smiles, and amazing people in the pics that make my life the masterpiece it is.
My studies into issues surrounding HIV, and now this blog give me a voice, and though I may digress about pop culture, or mindless rambles I sincerely hope to implore my (insane sometimes, admittedly) insight as well.
